Batch Controllers and Stroke Counters
By using the pulse of air that discharges when the pump stroke ends, we can monitor the strokes the pump has made, and use this function to do a variety of things eg.
1) Despatch a set volume of liquid ie (Chamber Volume) x (Number of Strokes) = Dispensed Volume.,
2) Monitor Diaphragm Life to regulate maintenance plans
3) Monitor Performance of Different Diaphragm Materials under different conditions eg Chemical Attack, Temperature Degradation, or Mechanical Wear.
4) Automate mixes eg, Control Primary colours in a mixing plant to make infinately variable blends depending on ratios.
The All Pneumatic Batch Controller and Stroke Counter
Of the many Batch Counters on the Market today most rely on the presence of Electricity to function, As AODD Pumps are designed to work on Compressed Air alone, it made sense to design a Batch Controller / Stroke Counter that was all pneumatic aswell.Features
- The design allows 'auto reset' of the counter or 'manual reset' for applications where the number of strokes is variable.
